MACON, Ga. — Two suspects were arrested early Saturday morning in connection with breaking into cars at a Holiday Inn in Macon.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office said that just after 2 a.m. deputies went to the Holiday Inn Macon at 3953 River Place Drive to respond to a call on two males breaking into cars.

They said that the two suspects fled the scene in a blue SUV, and deputies found it on Riverside Drive.

Deputies then tried to stop them, but they refused and eventually fled the SUV on foot, the sheriff's office said.

After a brief foot chase on Napier Avenue, near Brookdale Avenue, deputies were able to stop the two suspects, according to the sheriff's office.

They said that the blue SUV was stolen from Warner Robins, and it was recovered.
