The Denver Broncos placed veteran left guard Ben Powers on injured reserve Saturday, six days after he sustained a biceps injury.

Powers sustained a torn biceps in the final series of last weekend’s 21-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. He underwent surgery earlier this week and is expected to miss at least two months.

Powers, 28, had started 39 straight games for Denver since joining the team as a free agent prior to the 2023 season.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Powers spent his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has started 75 of 86 games played.
