The Detroit Lions will not have starting offensive tackle Taylor Decker or his backup, Giovanni Manu, for Sunday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Both players, who were initially listed as questionable, were downgraded to out on Saturday. Decker is dealing with a lingering shoulder issue that also forced him to miss last week’s 37-24 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Manu, who made his first career start in place of Decker, picked up a knee injury in the last week. He eventually landed on injured reserve.
Additionally, the Lions also downgraded versatile defensive back Avonte Maddox with a hamstring injury.
