SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- REDWEST Country Music Festival, currently on its second of three days, announced Saturday that performances will be paused due to severe weather passing through the Salt Lake Valley.

The announcement, which came via Instagram, reads:

"ATTENTION: Performances will be paused due to severe weather. Please follow the direction of event staff, gather your belongings, exit the venue, and take shelter. We will provide more information shortly, stay tuned to the festival app and socials for updates."
