FREDERICKSBURG – These late season moments of celebration can be critical to the future success of any football program, Palmyra included. And the Cougars certainly earned it.

Quarterback Roman Russek threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns, and the Cougars held off a persistent Gettysburg side 43-35 in Saturday’s Mid-Penn Keystone scrap at Frederick L. Gahres Stadium.
