MUNCIE, Ind. — The Toledo volleyball team dropped its second match at Ball State in as many days Saturday, falling 25-16, 19-25, 25-12, 25-19.

The loss drops the Rockets to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in the Mid-American Conference. Ball State improves to 11-8 and 7-0, respectively.

"One of our goals is to play our best volleyball in November,” UT coach Brian Wright said. “This weekend gave us nine sets against a good team to learn and grow from as we move towards that goal. I like the way we battled and fought. Our staff will dive into the video, and we will continue to get better each and every day."

Among the top performers for Toledo were Olivia Heitkamp (13 kills, 7 digs), Sierra Pertzborn (12 kills), Jessica Costlow (10 kills, 6 digs), Kelsey Smith (45 assists, 10 digs), and Grace Freibe
