The Cleveland Browns (1-4) and Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) meet Sunday for a Week 5 game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NFL odds around the Browns vs. Steelers odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Browns traded QB Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this week, so rookie QB Dillon Gabriel will make his second consecutive start, and first in North America. Gabriel started against the Minnesota Vikings in England last Sunday, with the Browns falling 21-17 while just missing the cover as 3.5-point underdogs as the Over (36) cashed. Gabriel threw for 190 yards and 2 TDs, while RB Quinshon Judkins rushed for 110 yards.
The Steelers last played overseas in Dublin, and Pittsburgh also faced the Vikings last. It had a bye in Week 5 following that 24-21 win over Minnesota, as the Steelers covered for a second straight outing. The Over is 3-1 in 4 games this season. QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 200 yards and a TD against the Vikes, while RB Kenneth Gainwell stepped up with RB Jaylen Warren hurt, going for 99 yards and 2 TDs, with 6 grabs for 35 yards. WR DK Metcalf pulled down 5 receptions for 126 yards and a TD, too.

Browns at Steelers picks and predictions
Prediction
Steelers 23, Browns 15
Moneyline
The Steelers (-275) will cost you nearly 3 times your potential return, and that's way too risk for not enough reward. Even if you were to throw Pittsburgh into a multi-leg parlay, including it would take a lot of the value out of your betslip.
PASS.
Against the spread
Back STEELERS -6 (-110).
The Browns are a mess, with a rookie quarterback under center, with a productive first-year running back behind him. Cleveland has a bright future with Judkins, and a vicious defense, but it needs the quarterback play from Gabriel and/or Shedeur Sanders to improve dramatically, and quickly. Last week was a good start for Gabriel, though.
Cleveland also has the disadvantage of traveling to England last week, and not having the traditional bye which tends to follow an overseas trip. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh is well rested after 2 weeks since its last game.
Over/Under
UNDER 38.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
Cleveland has scored 17 or fewer points in all 5 games this season, including 14.7 points per game in three games outside of the city of Cleveland.
For Pittsburgh, it has cashed the Over in 3 of 4 games, so that's why you need to go lightly. However, the Steelers will be tested by the suffocating Cleveland defense. Points should be at a premium in this black and blue matchup.
