USA, — Neil Young, the "Heart of Gold" artist, said he's pulling his work from Amazon Music in protest of the company's CEO and recent actions.
The posted Wednesday about how he made the decision to "save America from the Corporate Control Age" and protest Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' politics.
“Forget Amazon and Whole Foods. Forget Facebook,” Young said in a post on the Wednesday. “Buy local. Buy direct. Bezos supports this government. It does not support you or me.”
As of Saturday, Young's decades of music is still available to listen to on Amazon Music. His post only says his music will be removed "soon" and didn't give any specific dates.
The call to boycott the company comes weeks after 79-year-old Young stopped using Instagram and Facebook accounts in response to a Reuters investigati
