LORMAN, Miss. (WJTV) - A shooting was reported on Alcorn State University's campus in Lorman, according to school officials.

The university sent out an alert just after 7:00 p.m. on October 11, 2025.

"If you are on campus, seek shelter immediately. Do not leave your secure location until given an all clear by Campus Police," officials said.

The university did not provide any additional information.
