HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (AZFamily) — Five people are in the hospital after a helicopter crash in Southern California on Saturday.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. near Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard .

According to CBS News, two people on the helicopter and three pedestrians on the street were injured in the incident. Huntington Beach officials say the helicopter involved is associated with the Cars and Copters event that is scheduled for tomorrow.

Video posted to social media shows the helicopter spinning around several times before crashing into palm trees and a pedestrian bridge that runs over the highway.
