The Strangers: Chapter 2 star Madelaine Petsch recalls being terrified by the original 2008 home invasion thriller.

The 31-year-old actress recently told People her vivid recollection of the first time she watched Bryan Bertino ‘s film starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman , which has gone on to spawn a sequel and now a whole new trilogy.

She shares, “I was home alone and my brother thought it’d be funny to tell me to watch that movie. So I did, and I was quite young. It came out in 2008. I was like 15 when I watched it.”
