INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers second-year wing Johnny Furphy left Saturday's NBA preseason game with a sprained left ankle and two-way contract guard Quenton Jackson didn't return to the game after halftime due to a sore right hamstring according to Pacers public relations. The latest developments are even more trouble for a team that has plenty of injury trouble already.

The Pacers are already missing All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton for the season thanks to the Achilles tendon tear suffered in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Veteran point guard T.J. McConnell strained his hamstring in Tuesday's preseason opener and will miss a month. Rookie guard Kam Jones will likely miss all of preseason with a lower back injury.
