With Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray questionable for Sunday's road game against the Indianapolis Colts, the team elevated quarterback Kedon Slovis from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.
Murray injured his foot in the third quarter of last week's 22-21 loss at home against the Tennessee Titans and was able to finish the game.
Murray missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before participating Friday in a limited capacity. If he is unable to play Sunday, Jacoby Brissett is expected to start against the Colts with Slovis serving as his backup.
If Murray can play, the Cardinals will operate with three QBs on the roster. Murray, 28, has not missed a game since sitting out Weeks 1-9 in 2023 while recovering from surgery for a torn ACL.
