Spokane declares October as Domestic Violence Action Month

SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane has designated October 2025 as Domestic Violence Action Month, according to an official proclamation signed by Mayor Lisa Brown.

“Domestic Violence Action Month is not just about awareness; it is about action, healing, and community,” city officials stated. “From our police department to our housing and human services department, we continue to work alongside advocates, health providers, and community partners to ensure that no one has to face this journey alone.”
