COLLEGE STATION, Texas (WCJB) - Florida quarterback DJ Lagway fumbled twice in a 34-17 loss to No. 5 Texas A&M at Kyle Field.

Florida (2-4, 1-2 SEC) scored just three points after the first quarter and was 1-11 on third down in the game.

Texas A&M (6-0, 3-0 SEC) had over 400 yards of offense, with three different players recording a rushing touchdown.

Lagway was 21-for-37 (57%) passing for 245 yards and two touchdowns.

Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed was 16-for-26 (62%) for 234 yards and one touchdown and accounted for one of TAMU’s rushing touchdowns. He threw one interception.

The Gators came out hot on the first drive of the game.

Lagway was a perfect 6-for-6 for 58 yards, which included a one-yard touchdown pass that gave UF a 7-0 lead after the PAT.
