COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Aggieland paid their final respects to Reveille IX on Friday evening.

Reveille IX, who reigned as the “First Lady of Aggieland” between May 2015 and April 2021, recently died after complications from pneumonia.

Texas A&M University announced funeral arrangements on Monday. A service took place at 5 p.m. Friday, beginning on O.R. Simpson Drill Field. The service was opened to the public.

After the service, she was privately laid to rest with other former Reveilles outside Kyle Field.
