LOS ANGELES − Three road starts at three notable environments − Oklahoma, Nebraska and USC − is no easy task, but Underwood wasn't at his best in Michigan football's 31-13 road loss to the Trojans . Most notably, he didn't demonstrate he's made clear progress in the tough environments.

The true freshman completed 15-of-24 passes for 207 yards and a career-high two touchdowns. Sixty-nine of those yards and one score came on a nice pass to Andrew Marsh, but it was certainly aided by a busted coverage and a nice run after the catch by the true freshman.
