SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The spirit of remembrance filled Sertoma Park Saturday Oct. 11 afternoon, as Mitchell House, a local non-profit hospice, hosted its inaugural “Walk to Remember.”

The event brought community members together to honor the lives of loved ones who have passed, while also raising vital funds for the hospice house.

Mitchell House is dedicated to providing comfort, support, and compassionate end-of-life care in a home-like setting.

Stephanie Veurink, Executive Director of Mitchell House, highlighted how the event raises awarness about the house, while also bringing the community together to celebrate their loved ones.
