CLINTON TOWNSHIP – A year ago Madison Heights Madison watched Clinton Township Clintondale walked off the Eagles’ field with a 48-44 victory.

Included in that night during Week 7 of the prep football campaign was Clintondale finishing 4-1 in league play and finished in a three-way tie with Clawson and Hazel Park for the Macomb Area Conference Bronze Division title.

This time around there would be no Week 7 loss to Clintondale and definitely no sharing of the MAC Bronze Division crown.

Madison, listed as honorable mention in the Michigan Sportswriters Association Division 8 polls, continued its trek with an explosive offense that posted a 52-28 victory over host Clintondale in the MAC Bronze finals that secured the divisional championship for the Eagles.
