ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Burger King employee was shot on Friday night after a fight over a food order turned violent, according to police.

Officers responded to the fast food restaurant at 1130 Moreland Ave. SE at around 8 p.m., where they found the 35-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

According to investigators, the suspects went inside the restaurant, where one of them spat at the employee and threw items at her before pulling out a gun.
