The Blue Jays aren’t likely to carry only three starting pitchers in the best-of-seven American League championship series, as they did against the New York Yankees in the best-of-five division series, and right-hander Chris Bassitt is ready to go if needed.

“I feel good,” Bassitt told the Star for Sunday’s episode of “Deep Left Field,” the Star’s baseball podcast . “I feel confident about it, I feel good about it. I’ve been throwing some sim games.”
