Eugene Green is projected to secure a second term as New Orleans Councilmember for District D.

He has been a councilmember for District D since being elected in 2022. Advertisement

Green serves on many committees on the City Council, including the French Quarter Economic Development District, Governmental Affairs Committee and Climate Change and Sustainability Committee.

As councilmember, Green has helped tackle problems in the city, such as illegal dumping, passing an ordinance establishing the New Orleans Housing Trust Fund to help residents with affordable housing, according to his campaign website.
