CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A Chandler family was forced to quickly escape after their home caught fire early Friday morning.
Thankfully, everyone got out safely, including their three young sons. They credit a Good Samaritan with saving their lives because he alerted them to the danger.
The destruction at the home near Ray and Dobson roads is devastating. One of the only things still standing is something sentimental, a family photo on their mantle.
“That just shows Jesus is real, and he was with our family that entire night,” said Liliana Quezada, who lost everything in the fire.
White walls are now painted black with soot, insulation is spilling out of holes in the ceiling, and toys are sinking in mud.
“All our clothes, all our shoes like literally burnt into ashes,” said Quezada.
