Lincoln Riley and USC earned a signature win on Saturday with a resounding 31-13 win over No. 15 Michigan at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

The USC head coach spoke to reporters after the game. Needless to say, he was thrilled.

“Awesome win,” Riley said. “Tough, tough response by our football team. ... We were really looking forward to this game. I thought we attacked it, dominated the football game on all sides. ... Gritty, tough performance. ...

“What a cool time, cool atmosphere. Several years ago, it’s kind of what we all dreamed up this would be: Coliseum lit up, two iconic programs going at it, a heavy hitter, the Trojans coming off the field with a victory and the place totally on fire.”
