Police have charged three teenagers after a father and son were allegedly stabbed in Melbourne's inner-city overnight.
Emergency services were called to Southbank at 1:50am.
Police say a 47-year-old man and his 23-year-old son were walking with family members along the Yarra Promenade when a group of teenagers passed by and bumped into one of them.
A verbal altercation followed before the pair were allegedly assaulted and stabbed by the group of teenagers, who were aged from 14 to 17, according to the police.
Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the teenagers fled the scene but five of them were arrested shortly afterwards.
