Police have called on the public to aid them in their ongoing search for 61-year-old insulin dependent diabetic Troy Milne who disappeared over five days ago while camping with his wife in southeast Victoria.

Mr Milne was on a camping trip with his wife at a caravan park in Woodside Beach in eastern Victoria when het got in his car at about 5:30pm on Tuesday to collect supplies.

The 61-year-old Cockatoo man then entered a store in Sale 40 minutes after leaving the campsite.

Mr Milne’s silver and black 4WD was then spotted in nearby Bairnsdale the following morning at about 9:20am.

Police said the insulin dependent diabetic then entered an Omeo service station in Victoria’s high country at about 12:46pm on the same and purchased a collection of items.
