Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially been extended an invitation by US President Donald Trump and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to attend the Gaza peace summit in Egypt on Monday, October 13. PM Modi received the last-minute invitation on Saturday, the Indian Express reported. There is, however, no official confirmation regarding his participation at Sharm-el-Sheikh.

The international peace summit is being hosted to finalise an agreement aimed at ending the Gaza war. President Trump and Sisi will co-chair the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit on Monday,” according to a statement from the Egyptian presidency.
