CINCINNATI —

One person is dead after an overnight shooting in Mt. Airy.

It happed around 4 a.m. Sunday, in the 5000 block of Hawaiian Terrace. Advertisement

Police say arriving officers found one man having been shot. Life-saving measures were attempted by police and Cincinnati Fire crews, but the victim ultimately succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Officials say there are some complications with language barrier, in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood, but witnesses are cooperating.

Police have identified the victim as a 29-year-old Hispanic man.

Officers say they do not yet have a suspect.
