Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (0) in action against the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth quarter at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Detroit Lions (4-1) and the Kansas City Chiefs (2-3) meet for Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Lions vs. Chiefs odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 6.

The Lions roughed up the Cincinnati Bengals 37-24 as a 10.5-point favorite as the Over (48.5) connected, winning and covering for the fourth consecutive outing. The Over has cashed in 3 of the past 4 contests, too. QB Jared Goff threw for 258 yards and 3 TDs in Cincinnati, with RB David Montgomery running for 65 yards and a TD, while also throwing for a score. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown had 8 receptions for 100 yards on 9 targets, while RB Jahmyr Gibbs, TE Sam LaPorta, WR Isaac TeSlaa and TE Brock Wright had receiving scores.

The Chiefs suffered a 31-28 loss to the Jaguars in Jacksonville in another prime game on Monday Night Football in Week 5 as the Over (45.5) cashed. QB Patrick Mahomes went for 318 yards and a TD, while running for a team-high 60 yards and a score. RB Kareem Hunt posted 49 rushing yards and 2 scores, while TE Travis Kelce registered 7 receptions for 61 yards and a TD.

For the Lions, the injury report is littered with starters and depth players. CB Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and OT Taylor Decker (shoulder) are the most notable players ruled out, while S Kerby Joseph (knee) carries a questionable tag. The Chiefs have no notable players on the injury report.

Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs ANYTIME TD SCORER (-155)

The Lions didn't have a rushing score last week, snapping a 3-game streak with at least 1 score on the ground. However, Gibbs did have the receiving touchdown. That's 4 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving score in the past 5 games since being held out of the end zone in Week 1 at the Green Bay Packers.

The Chiefs have allowed 617 rushing yards with 4.7 yards per carry through 5 games, while allowing 6 rushing scores. As such, Gibbs is worth a look as an Anytime TD Scorer with moderate odds.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 4.5 RUSHING ATTEMPTS (-135)

It isn't optimal, as you don't want the defensive getting free or extra licks on your quarterback, but Mahomes has easily been the most consistent Kansas City player running the ball.

Hunt came on a little in Jacksonville, finding the end zone twice, but both he and Isiah Pacheco have struggled with consistency.

Mahomes, the 30-year-old signal caller, passed for a season-high 318 yards in Jacksonville on Monday. He also ran for at least 57 yards for the third time in 5 games. He's had 5 or more rushing attempts in 4 of his 5 games, and when he missed that mark, he had 4 runs against Baltimore in a rout at home. Go high on Mahomes' rushing attampt total.

Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown OVER 3.5 RECEPTIONS (-145)

The Detroit Lions passing defense has allowed 1,145 yards through the air in the first 5 games, and 11.4 yards per passing attempt. Surprisingly, the Lions have allowed 16 pass plays of 20 or more yards, too.

Brown and the Chiefs should test the Detroit D early and often. While Brown has tailed off since posting 10 receptions in Week 1 in Brazil, he still has 4 or more catches in 3 of the past 4 outings, and at least 3 grabs in each game to date.

In prime-time games, Brown has managed 4 or more receptions in all 3 games, averaging 6.0 catches and 63.0 receiving yards in those contests. While he'll be behind WR Xavier Worthy in the pecking order for catches among wideouts, he'll still get his fair share of looks.

Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt Longest Reception OVER 5.5 YARDS (-105)

Again, we covered (above) how giving the Lions are, in terms of yardage per pass play. Hunt has racked up at least 1 reception in all 5 games. He isn't a huge part of the passing game, but he is part of it.

In the past 3 games, he has catches of 10, 13 and 8 yards, and through 5 games, he would have cashed the Over on this prop on 4 different occasions. Again, nobody is going to confuse Hunt with Christian McCaffrey, or a tailback who frequently catches balls out of the backfield. However, he tends to make his catches count.

Lions PK Jake Bates OVER 1.5 FIELD GOALS (-110)

Here we go! It's become a thing in this space -- kicker props.

The Lions and Chiefs figure to have a good, old-fashioned shootout at Arrowhead on Sunday night. If so, Bates is likely to score plenty of points. We're going to go with Bates getting to at least 2 made field goals, as the Chiefs have a bend-don't-break defense. The red-zone D is good for Kansas City, and opportunities inside the 20 should turn into several field-goal opportunities for Bates.
