Park City Mountain skiers and snowboarders rejoice: Free parking will return to Canyons Village for the 2025-26 season.

Visitors will not be charged to park in numerous lots around the resort’s northernmost base, the resort announced Thursday. Free options include:

The first two levels of the new parking garage that has been built near the bottom terminal of the Cabriolet lift, which shuttles visitors between the parking area and ski lifts.

Surface parking in the lot around the garage.

Surface parking in Lots 1, 2 and 3 .

Surface parking in Lot 4 after noon.

Additionally, carpools of four people or more will be able to park for free from 8:30 a.m. until noon in Lot 4, which is within walking distance of the restaurants, shops and ski lifts. After noon, that lot opens to all parking
