Fraser voters will select three councilpersons on Nov. 4 with five candidates running for the open seats.

Patrick O’Dell is the lone incumbent candidate with George-Michael Higgins, Crystal Fletcher, Matthew Dantes and Lora Michael also vying for a place on the Fraser City Council.

The Macomb Daily asked each candidate to tell us a little bit about themselves and discuss what they believe are the top concerns for Fraser residents.

Matthew Dantes is a lifelong Fraser resident who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and currently works as a federal contractor. He said he is running for office because he is passionate about politics and committed to creating fair solutions and making informed decisions to serve Fraser effectively.
