Oregon State football is amidst one of its most disastrous seasons in history.

The Beavers were 0-6 following a loss on the road to Appalachian State heading into the Oct. 11 home game against Wake Forest, which they lost 39-14.

OSU fired special teams coach Jamie Christian, the program announced Oct. 5, the day after the Oct. 4 Appalachian State defeat.

With one of the lightest remaining schedules in the nation, the chance to turn the season around on the field is in Oregon State’s hands. But to truly flip the script for a program that’s undergoing a conference shuffle in the Pac-12 and struggling to solidify its spot in the college football landscape, progress must be made in recruiting and the transfer portal.
