SIMSBURY, Conn. — The Simsbury community came together Saturday to support one of their own, hosting a special fundraising car show for local Animal Control Officer Debbie Clark, who is currently battling stage four cancer.

The event, held on Iron Horse Boulevard, drew residents eager to show their support for Clark through a day filled with classic and modern vehicles, live music, crafts and food vendors.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Clark, who has dedicated her career to public service in Simsbury. Town officials organized the event to help offset medical expenses as Clark undergoes treatment.
