A tiger believed to have strayed from Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra triggered panic in Navegaon and Itikalpahad villages of Sirpur (T) mandal, Telangana. Authorities have confirmed pugmarks at the site and advised residents to remain vigilant and avoid solitary movement.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The movement of a tiger triggered panic among farmers of Navegaon and Itikalpahad villages in Sirpur (T) mandal on Sunday.

According to locals, the tiger killed a cow grazing near the fringes of forest on Saturday, causing alarm among residents of the two villages located in the vicinity. The farmers urged forest officials to drive the tiger back into the deep forest to prevent human casualties.
