MISSOULA — Montana State senior outside hitter Madilyn Siebler recorded a career-high 21 kills as the Bobcat volleyball team captured its fifth-straight victory over rival Montana Saturday night in front of a record crowd of 3,001 at Dahlberg Arena.
The set scores were 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 17-25, 15-10.
“Going into the match we knew it was going to come down to how we took care of business on our side of the net,” MSU coach Matt Houk said. “They had a nice crowd, but I thought we handled the atmosphere from the service line, received production from a lot of positions and played consistent volleyball.”
Montana State (4-1 Big Sky Conference, 9-7 overall) broke away from a 16-15 advantage in the opening set with four consecutive points, holding the margin fo
