Richland County unveiled its first tax payment kiosk this week at the Hopkins Magistrate's Office located on Lower Richland Blvd.

Richland County Treasurer Kendra L. Dove, whose office spearheaded the kiosk launch, was joined at the unveiling by state and local leaders, including South Carolina Sen. Darrell Jackson, State Reps. Jermaine Johnson and Robert Reese, Richland County Councilwoman Cheryl English, and Richland County Administrator Leonardo Brown.

The payment kiosk, which is the first of its kind in South Carolina, uses a touch screen that allows taxpayers to search for their bills, make a credit card payment, and obtain a paid receipt. The kiosk will only accept full payments and is available at the Hopkin's Magistrate Office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
