Saturday night's pro boxing show at Southwest University Park was a mixed result for fans and boxers.

A strong weather system brought consistent rain throughout the night and after three delays, three of the seven fights were officially canceled at about 9 p.m. The "Bouts at the Ballpark" fight card started at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the baseball stadium in Downtown El Paso.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation made the call to cancel the remaining fights as the storm system continued late into Saturday.

Who didn't get to fight

El Paso unbeaten super middleweight Jorge Tovar, El Paso super bantamweight Ariel "Apache" Moreno and unbeaten featherweight Victor "Jalapeño" Hernandez didn't get to fight.
