TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Orange and green flags are flying on the highest of seven hills as Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) gears up for Homecoming 2025.

While the official festivities start Sunday, the spirit and excitement can be felt all across campus as thousands fill Bragg Stadium for FAMU’s home game against North Carolina Central.

One lady said that although she didn’t attend the HBCU, Tallahassee is her hometown and FAMU’s homecoming means a lot to her. She said it’s about more than the fun events, it’s about history.

“The history and the tour behind the greats that came from Florida A & M.”

Severia Heard said that it is important to share the school’s culture so it may live on in others.
