Hundreds of students from various colleges affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) have raised concerns after their Permanent Registration Numbers (PRNs) were reportedly blocked following the completion of their academic term. The move has caused widespread anxiety among students, as it has halted their exam registrations, result processing, and degree completion.

A delegation of students met Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Parag Kalkar and submitted a memorandum demanding that the blocked PRNs be reactivated immediately. The students emphasized that their academic progress and future prospects were being severely affected by the decision.
