Greensboro police are investigating a pair of downtown shootings Saturday night, which left two people injured.

Police said Sunday morning that a man, whose identity was not disclosed, had been injured in a shooting Saturday in the 600 block of S. Elm St. in Greensboro.

Information gathered as part of the investigation indicated the man was shot during a fight or argument.

Police also investigated another Saturday night shooting in the 500 block of S. Elm Street, which the Greensboro department said left a victim hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

While the shootings occurred roughly a block a part, police say they seem to be unrelated.

Police said no information on suspects is available at this point.
