A gunman who tried to blast his victim at "close range" in a Wolverhampton park has been put behind bars.
Kieran Thomas, 27, admitted attempted murder six weeks after shooting at his victim in the early hours of Tuesday, August 26, outside Phoenix Park on Dudley Road.
West Midlands Police told of how Thomas' intended target stumbled to a nearby address and raised the alarm after the early-hours attack.
