RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Two men are recovering after separate shootings just hours apart Sunday morning in Richmond.
The first incident happened in the 2700 block of Midlothian Turnpike at 5:14 a.m. Police responded, and when they arrived, officers found a man with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after that incident, just before 9 a.m., officers received another call reporting a person shot in the 1600 block of Stansbury Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a second man shot.
Police say that shooting actually happened within the 6100 block of Derwent Road. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police haven’t said if the shootings are connected. The investigation continues.
