After another convincing win, the Texas Tech football team has once again moved up in the national polls.
The Red Raiders moved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 Conference play with a 42-17 home win over Kansas. Now, Texas Tech is up to No. 8 in the US LBM Coaches Poll released Sunday. This marks Tech's highest ranking in the Coaches Poll since Dec. 7, 2008.
BYU, which Texas Tech will host Nov. 8, is the second-highest ranked Big 12 team, coming in at 14th. Utah is 22nd and Cincinnati 24th.
The Red Raiders are ranked behind Ohio State, Miami, Indiana, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama and Georgia, respectively.
