Emmerdale's Beth Cordingly was sent love on social media after she shared a "terrified" message to her 25-year-old self.

The actress made her Emmerdale debut last year as Ruby Miligan, wife to Caleb Miligan. Entering the Dales as a feisty character, it was earlier this year that viewers saw a different side to her.

When her estranged father Anthony Fox arrived in the village with her daughter Steph, it was later revealed that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby repeatedly when she was a teenager.

His actions led to him fathering Steph which was confirmed by a DNA test that Caleb discovered.
