A helicopter crash near Huntington Beach, California, left five people hospitalized on Saturday after the aircraft spun out of control and went down near homes and buildings.

The incident was reported just after 2:00 PM near the Cars ‘N Copters on the Coast venue, with the crash taking place along Pacific Coast Highway. The chopper went down right in front of the Waterfront Beach Resort.

Footage has surfaced online showing the helicopter going down after spinning several times in the air.

The crash follows multiple tragic aviation mishaps this year alone, including one involving a chopper that went down into the Hudson River and killed six people in April.
