NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Friday morning’s devastating blast in Hickman County was registered as an earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The USGS posted its report on its website. There, they categorized the explosion that killed 16 people as a 1.6 magnitude with a 250 Kilometer radius.

On Saturday, the Humphreys and Hickman County Emergency Management Agencies said there would be more blasts to come at the site, as their work continues.
