BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - OCTOBER 12: Puka Nacua #12 of the Los Angeles Rams warms up prior to the game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on October 12, 2025 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Los Angeles Rams might have avoided a big injury scare to their leading receiver in Week 6 but it may loom large next week.

Wide receiver Puka Nacua leapt for a pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford and stayed down on the field grabbing at his left leg after the play. Trainers rushed out onto the field to attend to Nacua after the play, and he exited the game against the Baltimore Ravens.

He was subsequently ruled questionable to return to the game with a foot injury, though he appeared ready to return to the game prior to halftime, according to The Athletic's Nate Atkins, and eventually made it back onto the field.

The third-year receiver had entered the game leading the NFL in catches (52) and receiving yards (588), which had Nacua on a pace for nearly 2,000 receiving yards this season.

He finished the day with two catches for 28 yards on three targets. Veteran receiver Davante Adams stepped up for Stafford in Nacua's absence.

Here's what we know after the game.

Puka Nacua injury update

Rams head coach Sean McVay spoke after the 17-3 win over Baltimore on Sunday, confirming that Nacua has an ankle injury, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. McVay was uncertain whether Nacua would be available for the Rams' Week 7 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Los Angeles will face Jacksonville in Wembley Stadium for the team's only international game of the season.

Nacua returned to the game after being listed as questionable to return with a foot injury.

During a third-down play early in the second quarter, the Rams receiver leaped to attempt to catch a Stafford pass in the end zone. Nacua came down hard on his side alongside cornerback Marlon Humphrey and grabbed at his lower left leg after the play.

Trainers attended to Nacua while he was down before helping him walk off the field.
