BALTIMORE (AP) — Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua left the game against Baltimore in the second quarter on Sunday with a foot injury.
After an incomplete pass intended for him, the star receiver was slow getting up in the end zone. He initially tried walking but quickly went back to the ground holding the lower part of his left leg.
Nacua was eventually able to walk off with assistance, but he went straight to the tunnel. Rams running back Blake Corum also limped to the tunnel right behind him with an ankle problem.
Last weekend, Nacua became the first NFL player with at least 50 catches through the first five games of a season. He led the league with 52 receptions for 588 yards entering this game.
