Westbound lanes of East Freeway shut down near Beltway 8 due to crash

CHANNELVIEW, Texas – The westbound lanes of I-10, the East Freeway, have been shut down due to a major crash in the Channelview area.

According to Houston Transtar, the crash is located near Beltway 8 and two vehicles are involved.

Traffic cameras in the area show the incident, and traffic is being diverted off the highway at Dell Dale. One of the vehicles involved appears to have been towing a RV.

Avoid the area and seek an alternate route if possible.
