MACON, Ga. — When Steve Bell was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he read about a nonprofit called "Pints for Prostates" and knew he wanted to do something in Macon with the group.
Now, every year, the Rotary Club of Downtown Macon puts on the Macon Beer Fest in October .
This year's Macon Beer Fest was on Saturday in Downtown Macon and it was the 15th annual event.
They raise money for prostate cancer education and offer free screenings at the festival. Beer Fest has more than 100 varieties of beer and wine, and it's grown from 200 people the first year to now more than 3,000.
This year, they had live music, craft vendors, a mile race, keg obstacle course and a costume contest.
"The best thing that kind of that fuels me and fills my cup is the people that come up to me and thank me
